Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Taylor Shillam has her MS in nutrition and exercise physiology, with minors in journalism, mass media and public relations. She has been utilizing her talents with Like Media since joining the team in 2019.

“I spent a short time working as a nutritionist but quickly came back to my love of writing and media,” she shares. “I have experience managing social media for local businesses and startups, and currently I am working as a lead SEO content writer in addition to my position as Editor with Like Media.”

Taylor spends a lot of her time between Spokane Valley, where she currently resides, and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. “I love the creativity in this area with all of its amazing local businesses and restaurants, and I feel grateful to live in one of the most beautiful places around,” she smiles.

When not editing or drafting her next great story, Taylor can be found teaching CycleBar classes at their two local studios, attending power yoga, trying new restaurants and breweries, traveling, and seeing live music as much as she can.

When it comes to her role with Like Media, she says, “I am so grateful for the opportunity to share local stories and look forward to continuing to get to know more community members through Like Media.”
