Steve Russo, along with his wife Kim, are the founders of Like Media. Steve is originally from California and has a Masters degree in Business Administration and has worked in marketing for large corporations in San Diego. He and his family moved to Sandpoint in 2004, and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Steve and Kim have three children, and he says the joy his family brings him is what makes him a self-described homebody.

“We all get a long great and love spending time together,” said Steve. “Family is my number one priority, always has been and always will be.”

Although Steve may say he is a homebody, others may beg to differ. A professional volunteer, Steve said after moving to Sandpoint he realized he had two choices – either he could sit back quietly and take from others or get involved and give back to the community to help make it a better place to live and to raise a family. Over the last decade, Sandpoint has benefited from his volunteer efforts on school boards, non-profit organizations, Little League and Youth Football Boards of Directors.

When not working, Steve enjoys coaching baseball and football and thoroughly enjoys the outdoors, the majestic scenery of Sandpoint and the lake where he and his family love to boat and wakeboard.

While Steve says there are many people whom he admires, he counts former President Ronald Reagan at the top. And his favorites quote? Well, he has two:

“If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”
