Allyia has been a part of the Sandpoint community since her family moved here when she was just 4 years old. The second of five children, she remains close to all of her siblings, speaking to them almost daily. Growing up, her parents were always encouraging and supportive of Allyia in every aspect of her life. “My family is the most important piece of my life and I am very thankful for them.”

After graduating from Sandpoint High School, she relocated to Boise, where she attended Boise State University, majoring in communication with an emphasis in organizational communication.

Allyia eventually left Boise and moved back north to Coeur d’Alene. She joined the Like Media team in 2017, where she is committed to building relationships with individuals in the community daily.

“I love that I get the opportunity to meet so many wonderful and influential business owners and community members,” she says. “And I get the pleasure of creating unique ways to bring them all together through our publications.”

Every moment not spent working is dedicated to the love of her life—her daughter Alayjah. Playing together, spending time outdoors—swimming in the summer, going for walks and sledding in the winter—doing arts and crafts and playing with toys all make the top of the list of to-dos during their time together.

“Watching her grow, learn and laugh is one of the greatest joys of my life,” Allyia says.
